Happy New Year!
I hope your 2022 is going well so far. Unfortunately a new year has not brought about as many changes for the better as we would have hoped. We are once again having to pivot and be flexible.
Here's hoping omicron gets omigone soon (I know, terrible pun), but for now, here's what's changing:

Wednesday night activities will begin again on Wednesday, February 2nd (for those keeping track, that is Groundhog Day). We hope to see your kids back for our Wednesday nights missions activities from 6:30-7:30 then.

Date Night @ Church has moved to Saturday, February 26th.
- The Children's Committee and I have decided to move the Daddy/Daughter Dance to the Spring (April/May). I will update you when we have a new date
Something New:
This year I want to focus on Spirituality with our children. With that in mind, we will be doing some new things, including Prayer Stations before Sunday School.
Beginning this Sunday, once a month our elementary children will have an opportunity to experience Prayer Stations from 9:45 AM to 10 AM on Sunday mornings. I am hoping the kids will get a lot out of these, and my plan is to start doing them twice a month in the spring/summer, and then every Sunday beginning in August. I will send your children to their Sunday School classes at 10 o'clock. We will have the Prayer Stations in E255 this Sunday. I hope you will bring your kids to church a bit early so that they can participate!
This Sunday we will be making Protestant Prayer Beads.
Here's the tentative schedule for that:

July 10th
July 17th
Every Sunday from 9:45-10 starting in August

I know that many of you are inundated by emails and things tend to get lost. So starting this month, this email will only go out twice a month instead of every week, unless something comes up that you need to know about. I hope this new schedule will help your inbox not be as cluttered.
