The Ocean Collective Summit
The Ocean Collective Summit (TOCS), under the overarching Blue Water EduFest, returns to ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove Singapore on November 2nd – 3rd . In partnership with SeaKeepers and The Fabien Cousteau Ocean Learning Center, TOCS's purpose is to inspire innovative ocean solutions and unite global experts for marine conservation discussions. SeaKeepers' UK Launch Event
On May 13th, SeaKeepers held the official launch of its UK office and celebrated its 25th anniversary at the RNLI College in Poole, Dorset. The event showcased partnerships and program activities in the UK and Europe, with guest speakers Mike Golding OBE and Marie-Claude Heys.

Yacht Donation Webinar
On June 7th, SeaKeepers hosted a high-level introduction to the Yacht Donation Program with Steve Rizzone, Dick Seidenspinner and Michael T. Moore from the SeaKeepers' Donation Team and guest speakers, Norm LeBlanc and George Gallup from Global Yacht Appraisals and John Gaffney from YachtSafe Global. Seabed 2030 Project
June 20th, 2023
SeaKeepers partnered with Seabed 2030 to crowdsource bathymetric data collection. Loggers were installed in four charter vessels at the Newport Charter Yacht Show in Rhode Island.
Satellite Tag Retrieval
May 13th-14th, 2023
SeaKeepers partnered with Manta Watch New Zealand to retrieve a satellite tag from a manta ray in the southeast bay of Tuhua Island, New Zealand aboard DISCOVERY Yacht Deis Natalis.
Citizen Science Beach Blitz
June 3rd, 2023
SeaKeepers partnered with Blue Scholars Initiative and GEN2050 to host the first Citizen Science Beach Blitz as a part of World Ocean's Day celebrations in Miami Beach, Florida.
Permit Spawning Aggregations
May 2nd-10th & April 9th-15th, 2023
SeaKeepers assisted Florida International University's researchers in monitoring permit spawning aggregations. The data was collected in the Florida Keys, aboard SK/V DISCOVERY.
EDUCATION & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Teacher Workshop
From June 22nd - 25th, SeaKeepers hosted a Teacher Workshop in collaboration with Georgia Aquarium in South Florida. Joined by 10 middle and high school teachers from Georgia, the workshop featured marine science activities and was made possible by the support of DISCOVERY Yacht River Queen and SeaExperience. Junior SeaKeepers Program
The Junior SeaKeepers Program is an opportunity for high school students in grades 9 – 12 to get hands-on experience with oceanographic research while educating the local community in Miami-Dade and Broward County about marine conservation issues. Apply for our Junior SeaKeepers Program by September 8th below.
Free Our Shores
July 5th, 2023
SeaKeepers co-hosted a coastal cleanup event with partners called Free Our Shores, where 75+ volunteers spent the day after Independence Day festivities cleaning up the debris that was left on Virginia Key. 
World Ocean Day Cleanup
June 3rd, 2023
SeaKeepers, in partnership with Clean Miami Beach and Blue Scholars Initiative, co-hosted a beach cleanup. Over 100 volunteers helped collect 431 pounds of trash in Miami Beach, Florida.
Floating Classroom
June 29th, 2023
SeaKeepers hosted a floating classroom with Girl Power Rocks aboard the DISCOVERY Yacht River Queen in Miami, Florida educating and inspiring 26 girls about marine science and conservation efforts.
Triton Expo

SeaKeepers' Citizen Science Manager, Katie Sheahan, and Program Development Manager, Aubri Keith, attended Triton's 2023 Expo and Yacht Games Event at Pier 66 Marina in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
SEAKEEPERS SPOTLIGHT
Crossing for Cystic Fibrosis
The International SeaKeepers Society participated in the Crossing for Cystic Fibrosis event from Bimini to Lake Worth, Florida, in collaboration with Piper's Angels, from June 21st-25th. SeaKeepers had five paddlers, DISCOVERY Yacht owner Rick Thomas as the support vessel, and recruited additional vessels for the DISCOVERY Yacht Program.
