Sci-Tech Rocketeers News - JULY 2023

JOIN US for a Saturday July 15 Launch in Acton!

Hello Robert,

Attention New England Sci-Tech members! Our next rocket launch is this Saturday, JULY 15, 10:30 - 1:30 pm in Acton. Bring your rockets to the field. We will have rocket engines available for $4 each flight. Please contribute a $5 launch fee to help us pay for the field rental.

Rocketeers are welcome to come to NESciTech Friday to work on their rockets between 6-8 pm.

We welcome Eugene Fedotoff as our new volunteer in charge of rocketry this summer. Eugene will be at the Acton Fields on Saturday, so look for him for engines and help setting up your rockets. Come to the rocket build session Friday 6-8 pm to meet Eugene and finish gluing and painting your rocket.

Visit the Sci-Tech Rocketeers webpage for more info and travel directions.

For questions, email: info@nescitech.org.

Opt out? Please don't leave us! Just "Update Profile" at the bottom of this page to pick the Sci-Tech newsletters you want or email us. This mailing is for the rocketry club Sci-Tech Rocketeers (STR).

Build a rocket with us! First rocket is FREE for children!

Come to one of our rocketry build sessions (see schedule below) and then launch in Acton. Parents please participate with children under 13.

ESTES SpaceX Falcon 9 has landed at New England Sci-Tech

Come see a beautiful scale model of the Space X Falcon 9 with the Dragon Crew Capsule that takes astronauts to the space station. This is a working model complete with parachute, but is also a collectors' edition and so, no, we won't be flying it.

Please consider volunteering. We need people to help organize activities and launch events, mentor others in rocket building, and teach people proper design and construction for safe rocket launches.
