Turn your Christmas Tree into a Backyard Habitat
Now that Christmas is over, instead of throwing out your old Christmas tree, take it outside to create a backyard habitat for wildlife! Be sure to remove all ornaments and lights beforehand but feel free to leave any edible decorations such as strings of popcorn. Check out this handout from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to get more tips on how to reuse your Christmas tree.
