Dear Friends and Supporters,
2020 has been consumed with a pandemic that has caused much frustration, exhaustion and even heartbreak. I remain thankful for the many blessings associated with VIM.
The dedicated volunteers, even with some fear and anxiety, show up ready to put on their PPE and lend a helping hand and caring heart. They may not have the time but they definitely have the heart.
The community understands the importance of the VIM mission and provides donations, grant funds, inkind services and collaborations to assist with comprehensive free care to uninsured low income families. VIM is for the community, by the community.
The VIM staff members successfully handle multiple responsibilities and cover a variety of positions in the healthcare center. They work relentlessly to expand services and provide quality, compassionate care.
The patients thank the healthcare providers each and every day. They understand that without VIM and the assistance from the volunteers and community, their care would be unattainable.
This Thanksgiving holiday, let's reflect on the astonishing people in northeastern Pennsylvania that constantly and strongly forge ahead to provide hope, health and healing to each other and the underserved.
Warmest Regards,
Kelly Ranieli
