Volume IX| Winter Holidays 2021
Holiday greetings from the Magnolia Beautification Committee!

We hope this special e-newsletter finds you well and getting into the spirit of the season

As 2021 draws to a close, we want to say a big thank you for investing in Magnolia Village beautification
A special message from MBC Chair, Cheryl McQuiston

The holiday season is in full swing…our Magnolia Village is welcoming neighbors and visitors with holiday-themed wreaths, lights, and banners. Indeed, the Village represents the best festivities that many of us enjoy with family and friends. We hope all of you are SHOPPING LOCAL and supporting our businesses and stores that have worked so hard to stay open during the prolonged pandemic.

This end-of-year note provides me with one more heartfelt opportunity to thank you all for your fantastic support for Phases I – III of the Reimagine Magnolia Village project. Amazingly our tables, chairs, and umbrellas have finally landed for Phases II & III (a very long wait thanks to shipping and supply chain issues because of Covid).

The ever changing plan is that the new seating will be installed on W. McGraw between 33rd and 35th W. before the end of December. The new benches should arrive in January 2022. It will be so exciting to see the first three phases completed.

We then move on to the final Phases IV & V of the beautification project - more info to follow in the new year.

We ask for your support to help us complete the Reimagine Magnolia Village project. Please read more about the Reimagine Magnolia Village Legacy Tree that will be installed below ... this unique recognition installation is your chance to "see your name in lights”…as we unveil our generous donors who have donated $2500 or more to the project.

To all our donors, volunteers, the Magnolia Chamber of Commerce, and my amazing Magnolia Beautification Committee team: THANK YOU for investing in your community and keeping happy smiles on our faces as we complete Phases I-III.  I am sending warm wishes for a happy and healthy holiday season. Please continue with your support as we head into Phases IV & V by adding Magnolia Better Together to your holiday giving list - it will be a gift that keeps giving to this beautiful place we call home!

Thank you,

Cheryl McQuiston, Chair, Magnolia Beautification Committee
A meaningful way to show your love for Magnolia Village

Through our Reimagine Magnolia Village Legacy Tree, you have a lasting way to show your commitment to making Magnolia Village a great place to live, work and thrive

We are creating a unique legacy tree to honor those donors who have made a $2500 or more gift to the Reimagine Magnolia Village project.

It has been a labor of love to design the perfect piece to represent our donors and the project. We will be installing the Reimagining Magnolia Village Legacy Tree in 2022.

You can help the tree “grow” by increasing a previous donation to equal or surpass $2500 in total contributions or making a $2500 or more donation to support Phases IV-V of the beautification project. Your generosity will inspire and help future generations of donors support Magnolia Village and our community.

The tribute to these unique donors will be located outside the Starbucks main front door on West McGraw. Our thanks and gratitude to the Magnolia Village Ownership Group along with Real Property Association and to Starbucks and manager Jeremy Kelley for stepping up and supporting our community efforts and creatively showcasing our wonderful donors for decades to come.

All cash and in-kind donations from $2500 to $25,000 and above will be honored on the legacy tree – a beautiful and lasting tribute to community supporters.
