Let's Talk About Race

Teens in grades 7-10 are invited to join this multi-week discussion series about race.

Join Spandana Vagwala, in partnership with the Grafton Public Library on Zoom, to watch watch films and Ted Talks about race and discuss reading excerpts.

Spandana is completing her Girl Scouts Gold Award and part of her project is working with students to increase a comfortability around sharing experiences of racism and providing opportunities to learn about race in our nation.

This program will meet on Zoom from 6:30-8 PM on the following Wednesdays: October 20, October 27, November 10, November 17, December 1, December 8, December 15 and December 22.

Attendance at each session is not mandatory, but is encouraged.

Teens who attend all 8 sessions will get to pick a prize from the Teen Librarian.
