Coram Deo:

Anxious for Nothing

Where do our anxieties originate?

Anxiety comes from fear, the same fear that we are supposed to cast on God. It's normal though, worry is not a foreign concept to us; we’ve all experienced it in some way. However, we were not created to worry or to be afraid. We must remember that God is always with us, even when we are anxious.

One way to calm your spirit is to acknowledge that God is with you every step of the way, the Holy Spirit will grant you peace. There is power in knowing that we can bring our worries to God through prayer and petition, therefore we have no reason to worry. God always makes a way!

Philippians 4:6-7 teaches us the peace that we will be given will transcend all understanding. Be anxious for nothing!
