October has been an exciting month for AGE Africa! We made history by celebrating the national launch of Ticheze Atsikana (Let's CHATS Radio).

We are continually inspired by the support from local communities in Malawi and advocates like you worldwide.

Let's CHATS Radio National Launch
AGE Africa celebrated the national launch of Ticheze Atsikana (Let's CHATS Radio) at Chambe Secondary School in the Mulanje District on Thursday, October 28. Our keynote speaker was the Honorable Minister of Gender, Children and Community Development, Dr. Patricia Kaliati. Other notable guests included officials from the Ministry of Education, members of Parliament, district councilors, musical guests, and AGE Africa beneficiaries!

The launch helped raise awareness for the Let's CHATS Radio Program, promote radio listenership among girls across the country, and further girls' access to information amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

Julita John is a graduate of Mulanje Secondary School. Today, she is practicing dental therapy at Kamuzu Central Hospital and will soon become one of the few female dentists in Malawi!
