Week 20 of the 20-21 School Year
For the word of the Lord is upright, and all his work is done in faithfulness. He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the steadfast love of the Lord.

Greetings MLS Families,

Students will return to the building starting on Monday, February 8th with Cohorts A & C in school and Cohorts B and D at home. We will begin Quarter 3's Choice of Instruction tomorrow, Feb. 8th. Each parent/student was granted their choice, meaning if you selected the 5 day in person option, your child can begin to attend MLS everyday starting Feb. 8th. In order to accomodate our 8th graders that chose 5 day instruction, we moved our 8th grade classroom and Ms. Zambelli to the 2nd floor Library. Ms. Martin is now in Room 102.

An email was sent out on Friday regarding Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences on Wednesday, February 10th from 1:30-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm. The conferences will be held virtually. Please sign up using the following link if you haven't already done so. The link to the parent login is:  https://martinluthernyc.ptcwizard.com/authenticate/whipplehill/?role=parent

Attention Juniors & parents of Juniors - Mrs. Lecakes sent out an email regarding two opportunities for you to take the standardized tests colleges may use in your application process. We will offer the SAT during the school day on Wednesday, March 24th. We will offer the ACT during the school day on Tuesday, April 20th.  Please note: this is different from what was reported earlier this year!!! We have opted to close our public administration of our SAT in order to ensure your safety as you take this exam. We have also changed our ACT date in order to register for an on-lilne administration. The SAT is $52 and the ACT is $55. Payment for these exams will be due by February 11th.
