The Los Angeles Community College District has announced it is seeking a new security services contract after failing to reach an agreement on a contract with the Sheriff’s Department, which has provided services to its campuses, including LASC, for 19 years. Learn more.

LACCD's 2021 Winter Session and Spring Semester classes will remain predominately online due to the COVID-19 public health pandemic. Classes returning to in-person modalities during that time will only occur based on the prevailing Health Orders from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LACDPH) and in accordance with the Health Department’s Reopening Protocols for Institutes of Higher Education. Follow the instructions on the faculty tab from the library webpage. LASC Librarians have created a series of subject specific research guides to help students with their research.
