This summer, Tony and I have been preaching a sermon series called “Pillars of the Church,” based on characters in the Bible. I’ll be preaching again this Sunday and the sermon will focus on the life and ministry of Titus. I’m guessing you never have heard a sermon on Titus. This Sunday you will! See you at 10:30.
Time is almost out for us to make Back-to-School donations. I remember as a kid I had a tough time getting pencils, crayons, paper, etc. There are a lot of children in the same boat I was in as a child. I encourage you to bring some items this Sunday or drop $10 or $20 in the Back-to-School Box. Let’s make sure every child in Hamilton County has the supplies needed to get a fresh start in the school year.
The last time I wrote an article for the newsletter I said, “Each Sunday, continue to greet 5-10 people you know and always greet at least 1 person you don’t know!” Sunday, I invited all present to pray the following prayer:
“I will do what You want me to do.
I will go where You want me to go.
I will be who You want me to be.”
Pray that prayer each day in July, will you? See you Sunday morning.
