MAKEOVER MONDAY

This older property in KCMO is just off Ward Parkway and near the Brookside area. All the rooms are nice sized but as is often the case, the kitchen and bathrooms could use some updating but there is nothing I can do about that.

I think professional pictures should be retaken after staging is done, but sometimes, as in this case, they chose not too. So the after pictures are just my camera phone so please excuse their quality.

The side porch was enclosed to make more space

It wasn't clear what this room was intended to be so I usually take advantage of that to make an office, which most buyers want.

This master bedroom had 2 rooms with a bathroom in between and 3 smaller closets among them.

AFTER

Making the first room (and the larger of the two) the bedroom section made more sense to me. That way when the buyers enter the doorway with the bathroom it would also lead into the room that most people would see as a potential walk-in closet
