Student Mentor 2022
We are delighted to take part again in the RIBA Future Architects Student Mentoring Scheme.
Four students are joining us for three sessions where they will learn what it is like to work as in an office, as part of a team and the professional duties of an architect.
We recently took the students to a site in south Bristol where the construction of a house and 8 flats
is nearing completion.
We are enjoying sharing our knowledge and experience with these architects in the making.

Parkham Wood, Devon a 60's Gem Revitalised
The refurbishment and extension of Grade II listed Parkham Wood House in Brixham, Devon was completed in January 2022. Designed by the innovative, Devon-based architect, Mervyn Seal in 1960, this three-bedroom house, built high across a cliff face, with extensive glazing and distinctive butterfly roofs, is one of a small collection of similar houses designed by Seal in the Torbay area. The facade was restored and the Crittall windows repaired whilst the interior was fully refurbished and a new kitchen and bathroom installed thus turning this 1960s classic into a house fit for the 21st century.
