Congrats to Local Homebuilders
|
A big shout out to our friends at the Homebuilders Association of the Central Okanagan as they completed their Annual Awards Program online. The awards evening is always enjoyable and missed (hopefully back in-person next year) but the recognition of the many builders and their dedication to quality was evident by those being recognized. Great to see so many loyal Chamber members being recognized as well, reflecting their commitment to excellence.

MATT PALEY | Meticulosity
What is your position / title and company, and what do you do there?
I’m a Solutions Expert at Meticulosity, a digital marketing and web agency on Ellis Street. I work to find the best solutions to help businesses grow. Our tools include everything from inbound marketing to development of websites and everything in between.
How long have you been in the Okanagan? If you aren’t originally from the valley, what led you to call the Okanagan ‘home’?
The Okanagan has been home for about three years. I’ve been extremely fortunate to have lived and worked in many countries over the span of a decade and there’s nothing quite like Kelowna. The growing tech industry is great for work, while the surrounding countryside provides easy access to amazing places and experiences. My favourite pastime is paragliding... and the Okanagan is home to many excellent flying sites.
|
|
What do you enjoy most about your role with the Kelowna Chamber?
I just recently became an ambassador for the Kelowna Chamber and I love getting out and chatting with other businesses. I can actively help the Chamber help local businesses while getting feedback that makes me better at my job at Meticulosity and keep a finger on the community pulse.
What are you looking forward to / planning for the future?
Career-wise, I’m excited to be a part of Meticulosity’s growth as we have such a great team. Adventure-wise, I’m looking forward to the summer, spending every possible weekend camping with my dog and paragliding at sites across British Columbia (as well as Washington and Oregon if possible).
