Thank you to everyone who took part in our Winter Wear Campaign over the past month and donated new winter coats, snow pants, hats, mittens, and scarves. All donations will go to community organizations in need throughout Waterloo Region to ensure families stay warm this winter.

Last month, we were happy to join our friends at the Waterloo Knights of Columbus, as well as several other community partners, to kick off this year’s toy drive!

Kids Take Over

On November 19, 2021, we let kids take over as part of the Region’s #KidsTakeOver event – an initiative developed by the Children and Youth Planning Table of Waterloo Region.

The children were able to visit several different areas throughout the Service and see how hard our members work to keep their community safe.

We were honoured to attend the menorah lighting ceremony in uptown Waterloo to mark the beginning of Hanukkah on November 28, 2021.

In October 2021, more than 1,600 road safety charges were laid and a number of illegal weapons and drugs taken off the streets.
