New Park Amenities

Parks and Recreation has added some updates to park areas recently. Check them out when you are visiting the parks.
  • Government Center Trail extension - An extension to this popular trail has been added from Krause Road to Salem Church Road. The almost half-mile paved trail runs parallel to Courthouse Road next to the Chesterfield County Fairgrounds. The flat trail is great for walking, jogging, and bicycling.
  • Adult Fitness Area at Dodd Park - A new multi-station area has opened with climbing equipment, jump pods, overhead ladder, climbing wall, a bike and cross-trainer. The equipment is located near the children’s playground. Enjoy your "gym" workout in the great outdoors.
