Meet Anne Vaughan
Anne is a Peter Paul volunteer, donor, and the Chair of Peter Paul’s Board of Associates.
Q: Why and how did you become involved at Peter Paul?
When I came back to Richmond after college, I wanted to find an organization to give time to that aligned with my values. I wanted to be a part of a local Richmond organization that directly impacts the community, and I found that immediately at Peter Paul. I started mentoring a student once a week and from there I continued to expand my involvement with the organization!
Q: Why do you choose to support Peter Paul?
Peter Paul always aligns with their mission in the community and when they expand support in the community, whether it be bringing the senior program in house or how they are delivering education resources, Peter Paul is true to themselves.
Q: Can you tell us a little bit about the Board of Associates and your role?
In 2019, Peter Paul created a Board of Associates. While the non-profit has a larger Board of Directors, they also wanted to create an opportunity for a young professional board to have an ongoing role in the success of Peter Paul.
As the chair of the BOA, I work with leadership at Peter Paul to determine how we can best support Peter Paul, our supporters, and the East End community.
