Children's Day at the Capitol


Children's Day at the Capitol is an opportunity to inform the public, lawmakers, government staff and other advocated about your work to promote the well-being of South Dakota's children and families. Thank you for your support in making this event a continued success.


There are two ways to support this event:


$750 event sponsorship

Receive prominent marketing and the joy of helping to support this event and ensure its longevity. Booth space in the Rotunda is included with this sponsorship.


$250 booth sponsorship

Booths are located in Rotunda

Vendor booths will be available in the Rotunda from

10am to 12pm on January 20.

Children's Day at the Capitol

January 20, 2022

All times are listed in CST.


10am-11am - Attend committee meetings & meet with lawmakers


11am-1pm - Lunch in the Rotunda (all are invited)


11:30am - Early Learner and foster parents speak


2pm - Children's day announced in the House and Senate chambers


4:30pm - MOVIE SCREENING: Starting at Zero at the Discovery Center


Vendor booths will be available in the Rotunda from 10am to 12pm on January 20th.
