Children's Day at the Capitol

Children's Day at the Capitol is an opportunity to inform the public, lawmakers, government staff and other advocated about your work to promote the well-being of South Dakota's children and families. Thank you for your support in making this event a continued success.

There are two ways to support this event:

Children's Day at the Capitol

January 20, 2022

All times are listed in CST.

10am-11am - Attend committee meetings & meet with lawmakers

11am-1pm - Lunch in the Rotunda (all are invited)

11:30am - Early Learner and foster parents speak

2pm - Children's day announced in the House and Senate chambers

4:30pm - MOVIE SCREENING: Starting at Zero at the Discovery Center

Vendor booths will be available in the Rotunda from 10am to 12pm on January 20th.

Advocate Marketing Materials

At Early Learner South Dakota, we want to make sure our advocates have as many resources at their disposal as possible. We have created an Advocate Marketing Materials page on our website. Here our advocates can find printable banners, business cards, social media toolkit and more.

So, what can you do right away?

• Get pictures out there for our awareness campaign using some of the items on the Marketing Materials page!

• On social media use #solvechildcare and #sodakkidsmatter!
