March means Spring is just around the corner, and we’re shaking off the frosty slowness of Winter and emerging again into the life that Spring brings to our community. It’s hard to believe we’re already in our third month of 2022, but we’ve wasted no time in working towards all the hopes we’ve set out to achieve this year. HELP BRING A HOME TO A NEIGHBOR IN NEED

An anonymous donor has provided us with a $35,000 matching donation to extend the opportunity to others in our community to take part in providing sustainable and affordable housing for our neighbors! Now anyone can donate any amount to this matching grant opportunity and know that their donation will advance the momentum two-fold for Elevate Community. Visit the link to make a donation of any amount, and bring not only one, but two homes to individuals experiencing homelessness in the Branson area. 

CELEBRATING THE GRADUATING

CLASS OF MARCH 2022

Our Elevate Work graduating class of March 2022 will celebrate with a commencement on March 16th at 7:00 PM at the Elevate Branson campus. We are so proud of our soon-to-be graduates and the work they’ve put in to set themselves up for a more prosperous future. This graduation will feature guest speaker, John Hagey, Chairman of the Hollister Chamber of Commerce. Join us on March 16th to help us celebrate our graduates and their accomplishments! 

CONTINUED LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES

FOR OUR ELEVATE KIDS

The Elevate Kids afterschool program will resume through March and will continue providing added support for nearly 30 kiddos needing additional resources and education after regular schooling hours. On March 16th, we are also celebrating the graduation of a handful of kids who have completed the Elevate Work program alongside their parents, learning how to communicate respectfully, and build self-confidence. We love getting to hang out with kids participating in our Elevate Kids programming!

ELEVATE YOUR COFFEE RUN

Elevate Coffee is running full “steam” ahead and is offering up the perfect drink for your morning commute or your mid-day pick-me-up. Stop by Monday through Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. and choose from a variety of coffee, tea, smoothie and dessert choices. Purchases from Elevate Coffee help support Elevate Branson services, and each product is made with love and baked with hope.

MEET THE STAFF: MICKEY

Mickey graduated from our Elevate Work class at the end of 2020, and is our first official apprentice in our Missouri Department of Labor certified Apprenticeship Program. Mickey is the master behind our flavorful coffee selections at Elevate Coffee and, in our opinion, is the best barista Branson has to offer. When Mickey’s not busy perfecting his coffee making craft, or lying awake all hours of the night due to his levels of caffeine intake, Mickey enjoys hiking and spending time with his friends. Be sure to stop in and grab a coffee or sweet dessert from Mickey next time you’re by the Elevate Branson campus!
