Prayer Points:
1. Isaiah 40: 29-31 “He gives strength to the weary, and to Him who lacks might He increases power. Though youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly, yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary.” Father God, what an encouragement it is to realize that strength is promised to us as we wait on the Lord. Even in the actual waiting there are threads of strength that enable us to keep at it. He infuses us with the power to persevere. Thank You Father, for the results of faithful waiting on You.
2. Genesis 15: 5 “And He took him outside and said, ’Now look toward the heavens, and count the stars, if you are able to count them.’ And He said to him, ‘So shall your descendants be.’” Father God, would You increase our faith in Your promises in both everyday occurrences, as well as, in those milestone markers in our lives? Help us to trust You when things seem impossible.
