Wreath Making
Wreath and swag making day is Sunday, November 7, at 1:00 at Jean and Ade Olson's heated garage. In the past, this has been a fun time with many hands creating our beautiful fresh wreaths. You are encouraged to bring your own pruning shears and gloves.
Confections
Confections for the bazaar will be made at the church on Monday, November 8th  from 9:30am until finished.

Please come and help with this if you are able. These confections sell very well at the bazaar.
Project Drop Off
Please bring your projects and items for the bazaar on Thursday, Nov. 11, or on Friday, Nov. 12 by noon. A committee will be doing ongoing set-up and display those days.
Bake Sale and Canned Goods
Baked goods and your home canned items are needed for the sale. This has always been a very popular part of the bazaar. Please bring your goods to church by Friday, Nov. 12 or early (before 800 a.m.) Saturday morning.

Lefse
Lefse was made at church on November 13. Connie and Chuck Pettersen used their expertise in making lefse to direct the session. The Pettersen's daughter, Katie and members of the congregation helped with the rolling, cooking and packaging the lefse. Thank you Connie and Chuck for all of your help.

Your bazaar ladies,

Youth Ministry

Hello Kingdom families!

Wow! It’s been a bumpy ride over the last month with cancellations. It’s interesting how we can do our best to plan, but at the end of the day we can not plan for every contingency. Thank you, Lord, for loving us and protecting us through the messiness of everyday life.

I pray that you and your families are doing well.

Looking forward to our schedule going as planned:
-confirmation class 1 & 3 Wednesday
-youth group 2 & 4 Wednesday
-if there’s a 5th Wednesday we plan something special
The church will still open at 5:00pm on these days and there will continue to be dinner also. Yay! Answered prayers!
A thank you to the many people who work together to make this all happen. We could not do it without you. Whether it be meals, your time, your financial donation, your prayers, or making connections to cultivate relationships with our youth, my most sincere gratitude 🙏🏻 Our youth ministry is blessed because you decide to contribute what God puts on your heart:)

That being said, our current study is from the series The Chosen. We have seen the first half of the first episode and then take the time to look up Scripture involved, investigate who these people are, and some times it will bring us into some discussion about difficult topics that we still face today: depression, poverty, religious leaders position opposed to worship in Spirit and truth, social status, family dynamics, are just the tip of the ice berg). My hope is that as a community of faith, we can all have the opportunity to watch the series and be able to share with each other what we are seeing, learning, thinking and bring together the age groups in the process because we will all be on the same page, literally. Conversation, which connects us, can lead us to a better understanding of what we learn in our Bible study and bridge us together with those who have not yet taken that step.
If you have not seen this series yet, I highly recommend it! It is a fresh view of the gospel. It is available from the church in DVD form. If you need a copy let me know or pastor, or even the church office.
There is no cost.
It is also available through a free app on your phone. You just go to your
“App Store” and type in “The Chosen”.
If you need help with this, ask one of our youth! Lol It’s a good reason to reach out.
From there you can watch it from your phone! And you can utilize the features and have it play on your smart TVs at home as well!
Honestly, if you have any questions about any of this please call or text me and don’t hesitate to leave a message! You will get a response back.
Romans 8:16- The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.

Thank you for your patience, prayers and understanding.
Take care
God bless
Faithfully,
Miss Tammy

Live Streaming of Worship Services
by Pastor Paul
The time has come for us to consider “the next step” in our tech ministry. The church council has prayerfully considered and approved the plan to move forward to provide “live streaming” of worship and other special events (such as weddings and funerals) at Immanuel.
In addition to those who are not able to attend worship on Sundays, or other special events, this will especially benefit our snowbirds during winter months, who would like to “attend” Sunday worship at Immanuel.
People will have the option to watch worship and other special events live, or at a time of their convenience, as worship and other special events will be archived and available on our website.

Here’s the deal: the cost for this “next step” enhancement to our tech ministry is around $15,000, which seems like a daunting challenge, which it is. But the benefit will be enormous and will be a blessing for many years to come. The bid includes all the “hardware,” with the installation of new and improved (crisp and clear) cameras with a life span of at least 15 years, and training. The hope is to have this new system in place by the end of the year.
With Luther, it was the printing press; then much later came the radio and television; then along came the internet; and here we are today. Let’s together take “the next step” to advance the Gospel of Christ at Immanuel, today and for many years to come. Donation envelopes are available on the usher’s table in the rear of the sanctuary.
