The Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation has announced key changes to its Macy Faculty Scholars Program, a career development program for medical and nursing educators, including a revised timeline and selection criteria. The 2022 application cycle will open from April 1 through Aug. 1, and selected applicants will begin their two-year award period on July 1, 2023. Additionally, the Macy Foundation seeks to identify a more diverse next generation of scholars, including those who are more junior and more representative of the diverse individuals and communities served by the nation’s health professions institutions.
