Intern Social Held
On June 1st, the Alliance and LINK U.P. hosted area interns at City Park Pavilion for an evening of networking, games, food and drinks. Board members of LINK U.P. helped welcome the interns and shared what they love about living and working in the area. The event helps interns learn about area activities to enjoy during their stay and provides a peer-to-peer networking opportunity. We wish the interns great success this summer! U.P. Childcare Needs Survey
Open through June 16
The need for affordable childcare and options that align with working families' unique preferences and expectations is a top concern across the region. As part of the work of the Upper Peninsula Child Care Task Force and in collaboration with statewide partners, the group is distributing a survey to understand these needs in communities across the state in order to develop family-informed solutions. Please encourage working parents at your workplace, or any families you know, to complete the survey.

Please access the short, anonymous survey at https://survey.alchemer.com/s3/7301209/Understanding-Families-Child-Care-Needs-and-Preferences. The survey is open now through June 16, and you are welcome to share the link with any parents who wish to provide input.

Survey results will help inform recommendations for an improved statewide childcare system that provides options for all types of families.
