DECEMBER
Hoping everyone is ready for what December, the holidays and winter might offer. The month began with a light dusting of snow on the ground and the sky turned a different kind of blue grey, deep and brooding, but the promise of the coming solstice light is somewhere behind those clouds. On Sunday, as we watched a bobcat stroll leisurely across the fields, a rare flock of bluebirds swooped over the scene and disappeared into the woods. Both rare sights in a most unusual year… perhaps foretelling a better 2021.

There's always a way to support your local businesses. We need you more than ever this season!

A Christmas Star Will Light Up The New Hampshire Sky For The First Time In Centuries

Perhaps we can end 2020
on a celestial high note, because four days before Christmas a rare and bright event will appear in the New Hampshire skies for the first time in over 800 years!

NOTABLE NAMES
Notable names: The world watched and cheered and the first person to receive the COVID vaccine was 90 year old Margaret Keenan of the UK... who is hoping this brings her one step closer to being able to visit family and friends in New York City. The first man to receive the vaccine was William Shakespeare (no, not that one!… a namesake, tho.) We have since watched as trucks rolled out across the United States bringing the life saving vaccine to the most vulnerable among our population. Until it is available to each and everyone… please wear that mask and stay safe!
WARMEST WISHES
Warmest regards from chilly, but ever beautiful Sunapee Harbor. Cheers!
