AP Test Registrations
AP test registrations and payment are due to Mrs. Adkins by Friday, October 22. Registration forms have been distributed to students. The cost of each test this year is $96. Checks should be made payable to Elyria Catholic High School.
Open House
We cordially invite all junior high students to attend Elyria Catholic's Fall Open House. This event will be in person this year and is scheduled for Sunday, October 17, from 11:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. All are welcome.
High School Placement Test
We will be administering the High School Placement Test (HSPT) to current 8th graders on Saturday, October 23, and Saturday, November 6, from 8:30 a.m. until noon. There is a parent information meeting at 8:30 a.m. on the morning of both tests. The cost for the test is $20, and families can register online using by clicking on the button below. Students who do well on the placement test may be eligible to receive a renewable placement test scholarship. Elyria Catholic also accepts the results for HSPT testing completed at other high schools.
Families of next year's incoming freshmen (Class of 2026) can now complete the FACTS Grant & Aid application. Families of students who will be in the Class of 2026 should include older EC students if applicable. Families who complete the application by November 15 will receive their financial aid package by the end of December. Please click on the button below to complete the FACTS Grant & Aid Application. Elyria Catholic is excited to announce a return to in person visits by current 8th graders. Our Panther for a Day program kicks off on September 30. Students have the option of attending either a morning session (7:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.) or an afternoon session (11:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.). Lunch is provided for visiting students during both sessions. Students should wear their current school uniform unless otherwise notified. Prowl with a Panther Tours

Multiple Breed Rescue (MBR), Grafton
MBR seeks students to be “scary people” on Oct 22 & 23, from 5-9 pm. Volunteers need to report by 4 pm so they can get dressed and pick a spot to hide and scare visitors.
Mills Creek Pool, North Ridgeville is seeking lifeguards from May - August. Mills Creek will cover the cost of the Red Cross class needed to become a certified lifeguard and offer $13/hour wage. Interested students please contact Nancy Kubiak, 440.371.1896.

32nd Annual Elyria Catholic Golf Classic
Thank you to the one-hundred and eight golfers, including over fifty alumni, that attended the 32nd Annual Golf Classic on October 2, 2021 at Valley of the Eagles in Elyria. The event was presented by JD Indoor Comfort and sponsored by the Class of 1957, Journey Home Restoration, The Alan O’Connor Family, Schlather Insurance Agency, Inc., Barnes Wendling CPAs, the family of and In Memory of Lawrence E. Frey, CommStar Credit Union, Luxury Heating Company, WeedPro, and nine other Greens and Hole sponsors. The event featured two betting holes, five hole challenges with prizes, and the opportunity to win $25,000 towards a vehicle sponsored by Nick Abraham Auto Mall. The event raised just shy of $10,000 for improvements to the stadium.
