Our Vision is to be Transformed by Christ and to see Transformation for Christ.
Mini Service Sign-Up This Sunday
We will have a sign-up for three areas where new volunteers are needed to help us make it into 2021. Because of increased attendance and limited volunteers due to COVID-19, we are asking those attending in-person to make a short-term commitment in one of three specific areas: Children, Media, and Greeting/Guest Connections. We will form a rotation so that no one serves every week. Please prayerfully consider signing up in the welcome center after the worship service.
SUNDAY SCHOOL HAS RESUMED!
Sunday School is Back!

We are so excited that some of our Sunday school classes have resumed! There are two links below that contain more information on the classes available. The first link has a list of the classes returning and where they will be meeting, as most classes will not be in their previous locations. The second link will be the guidelines for returning to in-person Sunday School.

UPCOMING DATES
Church Conference/Deacon Ordination
The Quarterly Church Conference is scheduled for Sunday, November 8, at 4 PM in the Chapel and a Deacon Ordination service will be held in the Worship Center at 5 PM.
Operation Christmas Child
Tabernacle is participating in Operation Christmas Child again this year! Shoe boxes are available at the table outside of the Worship Center along with information sheets about what should be included in the boxes. Filled boxes are due back by Sunday, November 15 and Tabernacle's goal is 200 shoe boxes again this year. Each filled box should be accompanied with a $9 donation per box to help offset the shipping cost.
Christmas Store
It's time for the Christmas Store again and we have modified modified the process to ensure the safety and health of all involved due to COVID-19. The sign-up list is digital this year and can be accessed by clicking the button below. If you sign up to serve a child or family, you will be contacted soon. Because of our modified procedures, we are only asking for toys and clothing for families this year. The Christmas Store will be a drive-through style distribution. All items must be turned in by November 29 so that there is time to prepare for the December 10 event day. Click the button below for the sign-up form.
Church Christmas Decorating
Save the date for Sunday, November 22 from 4-6 PM. We will need lots of workers as we decorate the church and our new spaces for the Christmas season. More information will be coming soon. If you have questions, please contact james.kimmel@tabernacle.org.
Minister to Students Search
Our Minister to Students search committee has been meeting, developing a candidate profile, and is now ready to receive resumes. If you know of someone who may be interested in the position, please submit a recommendation or resume to employment@tabernacle.org. More details can be found at tabernacle.org/employment.

Giving During COVID-19
The ministry of Tabernacle Baptist Church continues during this difficult season for our world. Even with an altered meeting schedule, we would like to encourage you to give normal tithes and offerings as God leads. Our office is now open to the public. You may drop off gifts at the church office during regular office hours, Monday-Thursday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm (please note that we have discontinued using the locked drop box now that the offices have reopened). You may also give in person during the Family Worship Services, mail in your gift, give online by clicking the button below, or text "tabernacle150" to 73256.
