MESSAGE FROM RICKY

Dear Friends,

This coming Sunday is a special day of worship as we will celebrate the confirmation of our 6th grade students. For the past year these students have been studying the Bible, church history, and exploring their own spiritual gifts as they prepared to make their professions of faith in Jesus Christ.

This milestone is a moment that speaks to the intergenerational nature of our church. People of all ages have been participating in discipling, shepherding, and encouraging these young people. Whether you kept them in the nursery, taught them in Sunday school, or volunteered in other countless ways with kids ministry, you are part of their faith commitment this Sunday. I hope that you are there to celebrate them, pray for them, and make a promise to continue to journey with them.

I also hope you take some time this week to think about those people who have been spiritual mentors in your own faith. Perhaps you could reach out to them and thank them. Or, if they are no longer on this side of the kingdom, say a prayer of gratitude to God for the blessing they were in your life.

Grace and Peace,

Ricky

CARE NIGHTS

April's Care Nights is scheduled and we are READY to empower and resource all those in our community on how to navigate healthcare with confidence and ease. Join us on April 26th at 6 PM in the worship center as six professionals in the healthcare field will be on site for a night of NAVIGATING HEALTHCARE. These six experts have wise council on subjects such as home care, home health, senior living, behavioral health, hospice and palliative care, and Alzheimer's and dementia.
