TATT Announces New Board Members

Ten at the Top is pleased to announce the addition of nine new board members for the 2022-2023 term. The new members participated in the TATT New Board Member orientation session that was held on January 26. These new members join existing members to form the governing board for the 10-county non-profit organization.

The TATT Board of Directors is composed of public, private and civic leaders from across the 10-county Upstate region. TATT board members are charged with representing the region and their community in fostering trust and collaboration across the region on issues of regional significance, serving as an advocate for regional thinking within their specific city or county, assisting TATT in engaging elected officials, business and community leaders, and supporting general organizational functions.
Join Us for a TATT CHAT on February 10
Throughout 2022, Ten at the Top will be holding a monthly virtual TATT CHAT with a special guest speaker as well as resource updates from across the Upstate. Each TATT CHAT will take place on the second Thursday of the month from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

The February TATT CHAT will take place on February 10 and feature Dr. Gail Wilson Awan, the President & CEO of the Urban League of the Upstate. The Urban League of the Upstate is celebrating 50 years of service in 2022.

The February resource updates will highlight Anderson County with updates from Jordan Evans from AIM (Anderson Interfaith Ministries) and Teri Gilstrap from the Anderson County Economic Development Office.

All TATT CHATs are free, but you must register to receive the Zoom login.
Join TATT & Urban League of the Upstate
for Upstate Connects on February 11 and February 25
Ten at the Top and the Urban League of the Upstate are partnering to host in-person "Upstate Connect" small group Friday morning discussions throughout 2022. Each session will focus on a specific topic or issue with the discussion led by topic experts from across the Upstate. There will be two sessions in February.

The first session of the month will be held on February 11, from 9:00 - 10:15 a.m. It will be held in Greenville at the Park 37 Complex Community Room. The topic for this session will be "Black History Month in the Upstate: Where Have We Been and Where Are We Going". There are currently only 8 spots remaining, so be sure and register today and plan on joining us Friday.

The second February session will be held on February 25, from 9:00 - 10:15 a.m. in Anderson at the Western Upstate Association of Realtors . The topic for this session is "The Current Status of Real Estate & Development in the Upstate." There are currently 17 spots remaining for this session, so be sure to register today to reserve you seat.

Participation in the Upstate Connect sessions is free, but advance registration is required as we will be limiting registration to 30 people to allow for social distancing and for group discussion.

Upstate Summit May 10th
After twice postponing the event due to the pandemic, we are pleased that the Ten at the Top Upstate Summit will take place from 8:00 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at the Greenville Convention Center.

The event will include the Partner Expo, Morning Session, Breakout Sessions and the Luncheon Keynote featuring best selling author Richard Florida. You can see the entire schedule through this link.

To help ensure the health and safety of all attendees, we are currently planning to cap registration at 500 participants. This number could increase or decrease depending on the status of the pandemic as we near the event.

Current TATT partners at the Ambassador or higher level will receive Summit tickets as part of their current funding support. You will be receiving ticket information in the coming weeks and must confirm your tickets by April 15.

If you are interested in attending the Summit and are not a current TATT Funding Partner, table & event sponsorships are currently available. You can check out the sponsorship material through this link. The deadline for new sponsorships is March 31.

Depending on the number of partner and sponsorship tickets secured as well as current pandemic protocols, a limited number of individual tickets may be available for purchase in April.

Keith Scott Serving as Interim Upstate
Mobility Alliance Director;
Search for Full-Time Director Now Underway
We are pleased to announce that Keith Scott, formerly the Executive Director of Electric City Transit in Anderson, is serving as the Interim Director of the Upstate Mobility Alliance.

Scott has been involved with the Ten at the Top mobility initiative since it started in 2017 and served as co-chair of the Upstate Mobility Alliance since it formally started in 2020.

He is currently supporting UMA efforts around rural transportation access, growing transportation investments and the M.O.V.E community program.

With Scott moving to his new position, Nicole McAden, Marketing and Public Affairs Director for Greenlink, has agreed to serve as co-chair of the Upstate Mobility Alliance. She joins Leesa Owens of Michelin, who has been a co-chair of UMA since 2020.
