Advent meditation for December 4, 2020

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to God and bless His name. – Psalm 100:4

What an amazing privilege we have to enter boldly into His throne of grace. We serve a personal God who desires a relationship with us. We have access to Him 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. What do we have to give that is worthy of Almighty God? Our praise, our thanksgiving, our worship. We should always enter His Church with an offering of adoration from our hearts. It is good to start the day by thanking God for who He is and all He’s done for us.
A prayer for today:

Dear God, thank you for another day to praise you. Thank you for all you’ve done in our lives and for what you will do tomorrow. You are a faithful God and we praise you with grateful hearts. We thank you for our health. We thank you for our Church community and all those dear to us. Help us keep an attitude of faith and praise no matter what the circumstances. We know you are a rewarder of those who diligently seek you and that our future is bright as we serve and obey you in Jesus’ name, Amen.
