Settle is still collecting school supplies and donations for our four local partner elementary schools - Eastview, Audubon, Estes and Foust.

We’ve asked the schools for a shopping list that we can help with as they prepare to return to school this year. You can access that list at the button below. If you’d rather not shop, monetary donations are always appreciated and can be sent to the church office (P. O. Box 1756, Owensboro, 42302) or by clicking the "give online" button below.

Supplies should be dropped off at the church office during normal office hours by Sunday, Aug. 7.

Have you had a chance to meet Settle's new senior pastor, Mark Dickinson, & his wife, Jennifer? Many Sunday School classes & small groups are planning their own events, but if you don't have a group, please consider signing up for one of our upcoming "meet & greet" sessions. The Mountain Mission Truck will be coming to Settle in early August.

Please do not bring items to the church office. Items may be brought to the garage door that is open during these times. Urgent needs include men's clothes, back-to-school clothes, men's and children's coats, children's winter clothes, good pots & pans, socks & underwear, and purses. Of course, all good and usable donated items are welcomed!

This Sunday, July 31, is a Fifth Sunday Offering of Hope. You have the opportunity to give to the ministry and missions of the Kentucky United Methodist Homes for Children and Youth (including the Mary Kendall Home in Owensboro), where children and youth receive the care they need to achieve healing and wholeness. Please mark your check “KYUMH” or use our online giving option.

Settle Memorial staff will prepare an e-mail newsletter bi-monthly during our lighter summer schedule. Weekly e-mail newsletters will resume in conjunction with fall activities resuming. The next publishing date will be Aug. 10.
