Praise:
We give thanks for the ministry of Baptists during this challenging year, including the use of a BWAid grant to provide food for those facing joblessness as a result of COVID-19.
Prayer:
Pray for ongoing peace throughout the country and for those suffering as a result of recent storms. We also pray for the Convention, which had to postpone its assembly from December 2020 to August 2021 due to COVID-19.
We also join us in prayer this week for the people of Laos.
We continue to receive word weekly of Baptist leaders around the world who are battling COVID-19. Please join us in prayer for healing for those impacted, comfort for those mourning, and protection for all from further spread of this pandemic.
A Prayer from Vietnam

O We remember, O Lord,
those who suffer from any kind of discrimination,
your children, and our brothers and sisters,
who are humiliated and oppressed.
We pray for those who are denied fundamental human rights,
for those who are imprisoned,
and especially those who are tortured.
Our thoughts rest a few moments with them…
And we pray that your love and compassion may sustain them always.
