Roslyn Public Schools

SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS

November 9, 2021

Dear Roslyn Families,

As a convenience to the Roslyn community, Advanced Cardiovascular Diagnostics (ACD) will expand their schedule to provide Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines (12 years of age or older), and Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine booster shots (65 years and older, underlying conditions, educational staff) for members of the community who wish to avail themselves of this service.

All shots will be administered in the trailer located in the back of the student parking lot at Roslyn High School, located at 475 Round Hill Road. ACD can only give the booster vaccine to those who have had either the Moderna or the Pfizer vaccine, and 6 months have passed since the second dose. As per ACD, only the Pfizer vaccines will be administered. These OPTIONAL appointments are being provided for the convenience of the community at no cost to the district.

In addition, once ACD is authorized as a provider in the category for children aged 5-11—and they receive their allotment of doses— appointments for children in that age group will be made available during non-school hours. Until that time, we encourage you to reach out to your pediatrician. Any child getting the vaccine or being tested MUST have a parent present to provide consent during the appointment, no exceptions

Below are the additions (with links) to the November 2021 schedule. Please note that two flyers are attached to both links, so you must scroll down the flyers to find additional dates. You MUST make an appointment to receive any service. Please note that you MUST have your vaccination card with you in order to receive the booster. More dates will be announced soon.
