New feature in My.Scouting/Organization Manager/Settings
Automatically Accept Youth Applications to this Unit
Did you know that a unit can now automatically accept online youth applications? This saves time and means a Key 3 member won’t have to login to their my.scouting.org account to go to Application Manager to accept the youth applicants. When youth online applicants join automatically, the Key 3 members will receive notification and be aware. To set this up, just have a Key 3 member login to the unit’s Organization Manager in My.Scouting.org and under Settings check the box for Youth Applications to Automatically Accept Youth Applications to this Unit. Then scroll down the page and click on Save. You might ask, “What happens if an online youth applicant joins the wrong unit by mistake?” No worries, the council can transfer the youth to the correct unit to correct the mistake.
