Get a head start on community service hours while helping out in our local community
Westport Library Spring Book Sale
The Spring book sale at the Westport Library is a community tradition; with proceeds from the book sales supporting library programming and operations.
This year, the Westport Library Spring Book Sale will be held from Friday, May 5th through Monday, May 8th.
The Westport Library, has asked B3 to help with set-up on Wednesday, May 3rd and Thursday May 4th from 3:30 - 6:30pm and take-down on Monday, May 8th from
4:00 - 7:00pm.
Westport Garden Club
Another community tradition is the Westport Garden Club Annual Plant Sale. This year the Annual Plant Sale will be held on Saturday, May 13th from 9:30am - 1:30pm on Jesup Green in Westport.
The plant sale features over 1,000 homegrown plants from members own gardens.
The Westport Garden Club has asked B3 to help during the sale and with take-down after the sale.
You can sign up for either the 9:00am - 12:00pm shift or the 11:00 - 2:00pm shift or both!

Support the B3 Advisory Board and Midnight Run in NYC by donating items from the list below.
Please drop-off donated items to the B3 office by Tuesday, April 25th

Non-Perishable Items:
(80 – 100 needed)
  • Small Water Bottles
  • Juice Boxes 
  • Travel packs of wipes
 
Clothing/Misc.
  • T-Shirts - Men's L + XL (plain, no logos)
  • Shoes (especially sneakers) - Men's (size 9 and up)
  • Pants (especially jeans) - Larger sizes preferred (size 34+)
  • Backpacks – new or gently used
  • Blankets – soft, lightweight (inexpensive fleece type)

Please call (203) 847-5220 with any questions and to make sure that someone will be at the office before dropping off donations.

As the end of the B3 year approaches, there are various end of year videos that need to be created and B3 could use your help.
