October 2nd is National Custodian Day and we would like to recognize our fantastic custodial staff. Even before the pandemic, they took extra care to ensure that our campuses were safe and clean for our scholars. They've stepped up to the plate during the pandemic, working hard to ensure our campuses were sanitized at each turn. That's not all they do, they go above and beyond to help those who need it, whether it's a student, parent, teacher, or a member of the community without children at the school. We can't express just how much they mean to GGUSD.

Evans Students Get Missing Trikes Back Thanks to GGPD!
When our GGPD SROs heard that Evans Elementary School was missing some tricycles, they sprang into action to get them back to their rightful owners! After successfully locating the trikes they personally delivered them, along with a few extra goodies, to the Evans kindergartners!
We value the hard work and dedication that the GGPD SRO program has to our GGUSD community and are thankful for this amazing partnership. #GGUSDpride

Bolsa Student Engineers Amazing Internship Opportunity
Even though distance learning was difficult for Bolsa Grande music students, it provided an avenue for students to utilize their musical talents in different ways. Wilson Le, a senior in the department, used his composition, audio engineering, video editing, and music production skills to help make virtual performances for the band, choir, and orchestra. Mrs. McCullough, the choir director, was so impressed with Wilson’s work ethic and ability that she decided to ask her brother, Brent Kutzle who is in the band OneRepublic and a GGUSD alumni, if he would be willing to take Wilson on as an audio engineering intern. After a successful interview, Wilson Le was granted the internship. Bolsa staff goes the extra mile to help students achieve their dreams! #GGUSDPride
