It was good to have Brad back with us as we experienced another great day of worship. Brad and Carleen Page did a wonderful job with the special music!
We welcomed John and Maylen Cooke (daughter – Arabella) to our church family at the 11:00 service. John comes upon profession of his faith in Jesus, and Maylen comes upon promise of her church letter. Please take time to meet them and welcome them to the RPBC family!
On Easter we celebrated the resurrection of Jesus. Then, this past Sunday we looked at Jesus’ 40 days of earthly ministry between His resurrection and ascension. On April 30th, if the Lord is willing, we will consider where Jesus was and what He did during the roughly 36 hours His body was in the tomb, in a message entitled, “To Hell and Back.” Please plan to be here and bring someone who needs to know that hell is a real place.
As you read this, Janice and I are enjoying a few days’ vacation. Mickey Clogher will lead the Bible Study and Prayer Meeting this Wednesday night, and Rhys will preach next Sunday. Please pray for us while we are away, and I look forward to seeing you when we get back!
You Are Loved!
