Stay Home Order Lifts: Santa Cruz in Purple Widespread Tier
This morning, California health officials lifted the regional Stay Home Order for all areas statewide. That means Purple Tier restrictions are effective today for Santa Cruz County, including:

  • Restaurants | open outdoor only
  • Retail | 25% indoor capacity
  • Hair salons, spas & barber shops | open (with restrictions)
  • Bars | closed, unless serving food
  • Fitness clubs | outside only
  • No indoor gatherings

While ICU capacities currently remain under 15%, health officials say the four-week projection for ICU capacity in our region is now expected to reach above 15%.
