Masking Update from the Superintendent

Dear Northwood Families,
At this time, the Covid 7-Day total PCR positivity rate is 15.3% in the Northwood Community. Per the Northwood School District 2021-2022 Reopening Plan (approved on September 8, 2021), masks will be required in the Northwood School starting on December 6th. This will be reevaluated by the Superintendent and the Northwood School Covid Response Team on December 10th, 2021. If you have any questions on the plan, it can be found on the school’s website.

Sincerely,
Nate Byrne, Superintendent of Schools
From the Nurse's Office

Hello Northwood Families,

I know some families often look for ways to help others during the holidays. The nurse's office is in need of new clothing for when students have accidents at school. Accidents can be as simple as a rip or spilled food. We are in need of gender-neutral pants or shorts, leggings, and underwear (must be new) in children's size 4 - to adult medium would be very much appreciated. We strongly prefer new items with tags.

Thank you in advance!

In other news, the state is offering free at-home covid tests. Click this link to find out more.
