Our mission: to be a sign of Christ’s love for the world.
GATHER!
Here are the ways we worship & join in fellowship together.

How wonderful to worship together in our sanctuary!
Let us be mindful of the needs of those around us.
Worship Schedule
10am in the Sanctuary or on Facebook Live.

This week’s scripture lesson is:
Luke 11:1-13

Missed Church on Sunday? Want to hear the sermon again? Check out any sermons you missed here!

At this time, masks are optional; however, let us be mindful of the needs of those around us.  May we respect and love one another whether wearing a mask or going without. In the Sanctuary if someone is wearing a mask, please leave some space if you are not wearing one.

As Matthew 7:12 says, "Treat others as you would want to be treated."
Thank you for living in Christian love with one another!
Don't Forget your church as you enjoy summer vacations
Dilworth Church is full of ministry activities during the summer even while you may be away. When you are home, please join us for worship and ministry. While you are away, keep us in prayer to be Christ’s love in the world. And please remember, we need your financial support for all the ministry even in your absence. #DUMCsummerbingo is a great way to keep up with your church family! May you find fun, rest, and refreshment of body and soul in the coming days.
Altar Flowers
The beautiful flower arrangement that will adorn the altar Sunday morning is given to the glory of God in memory of Mary Claire Nashold, Blaine's Grandmother, from the Nashold family, Blaine, Danielle, Trey, Wells, and Reaux.
Altar Flower Sign-Ups
If you would like to provide the altar flowers for Sunday Worship there are a few ways to sign-up to do so. If you are at the church, you can come by Madison Rubottom's office and use the sign-up sheet posted on her door. If you would prefer to sign-up online, here is the link to our altar flower sign-up genius. If you have any questions you can email Madison madison.rubottom@dilworthchurch.org or drop by her office!

Sacrament of Baptism and Reception into the Dilworth Family
It’s with joy that we celebrate the sacrament of baptism of Evan Croft Jones today. Evan is the son of Matt and Bessie Jones, and the great-grandson of Syd Croft. Evan’s parents are being brought into our membership as well: Matt in the profession of faith (baptized as an infant at Providence UMC) and Bessie joins in the reaffirmation of her faith and transfer letter from St. Patrick’s Catholic Church of Fayetteville, NC. We rejoice in God’s gift of grace upon the Jones family and the joining of our spirits together in the journey of faith. Please give them a warm official Dilworth welcome.
Welcome, Cade Andrew Jones!
We celebrate the birth of Cade Andrew Jones, the son of Bryan and Kelsey Jones and grandson of Elizabeth Turbyfill. Cade Jones was born on July 20th, 2022. Join us in welcoming baby Cade into the world and into our hearts!
VBS Recap
We had an amazing week of VBS with 80 kids, 60 volunteers, singing, crafts, stories, and water balloons! The children raised $893 for UMCOR’s Ukrainian refugee fund. Praise God! A huge thank you to everyone who helped and supported this fun and meaningful ministry. If you would like to volunteer next year or donate to this important ministry, please contact Anna (anna.sink@dilworthchurch.org).
