Dear RSPA Humble Families:
We are writing to notify you that (1) individual who was last on RSPA's Humble Campus on Tuesday, September 28th, has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. You should also know that (2) individuals who were last on campus Tuesday, September 28th, were in close contact with a positive case and are currently awaiting test results from home. Your child was not in close contact unless you were individually notified.
This notice is being sent to all Humble parents and staff members.
Allow us to reassure you that RSPA follows guidance from the Texas Education Agency in the event of positive cases:
Areas heavily used by individuals infected with COVID-19 are sanitized. Individuals with positive COVID-19 test results will remain off campus until the following re-entry criteria have been met...
- must self-isolate for at least 10 calendar days since symptoms first appeared.
- must have no sign of fever without fever-reducing medication for at least 24 hours since recovery and symptoms have significantly improved.
