A FAITH INJECTION

The scriptures tell us in Hebrews 11:6 that “without faith it is impossible to please God.” My question today would be, do you truly have faith? Do you believe when you pray that something is going to change, or do you just hope so? It doesn’t say without hope it is impossible to please God. It takes faith. Faith moves mountains. Faith calms seas. Faith opens the eyes of the blind. Faith brings the dead back to life. Faith brings finances in miraculously. If you don’t have that kind of faith, then you need to have a faith injection.

What is that you might say? It is hearing the word of God. You see, faith comes by hearing the word of God. Faith does not come by listening to those around you that doubt and are lukewarm in their walk with God. There are different levels of faith. It takes great faith to see great miracles, but they happen. You must be determined that above all things that you pursue faith. You must be like a bulldog that bites and never let’s go of the promises of God. It can never be half-hearted and be controlled by fear.

You see, the exact opposite of faith is fear. Fear that you won’t live. Fear that you won’t have any money. Fear your family won’t get saved. Fear of COVID 19. Fear that you will get sick, and on and on. We must eradicate fear from our minds. Our minds need to be renewed by the Spirit of God by listening to faith filled messages. You can choose to walk in faith or walk in fear. Faith in God’s promises removes fear!

Yes, we are in the last days, but our faith will see us through. Yes, you may be fighting disease, but faith in God’s promises will bring miracles. Faith will transform you from a boy tending sheep to a giant killer. It is so much better to walk by faith than it is to walk by fear.

Find those that believe in the Word of God, act on the promises, and learn from them. Open your Bible and read it. Get a study Bible to help you find the promises you need, and then BELIEVE what you read, and say it is yours.

I can promise you that your life will be a lot better if you do that. You will walk victoriously and be an example to others. If you haven’t gotten your faith injection, then today is a good day to get it! As always, be blessed to be a blessing!

ABRAHAM – PART 11
STRIFE: LUST OF THE EYE

Abram left Egypt and, via the Negev, returned to Beth-el with considerable wealth. It has been estimated that his household may have numbered around a thousand souls counting all his servants and herdsmen. Lot was still with him and also possessed a large household of servants and herds.

Grazing for herds was a challenge. There was scarcely enough for both Abraham’s herds and Lot’s herds. Plus, there were yet Canaanites and Perizzites there to compete for grazing rights. Abram wanted no strife in the family, so Abram negotiated a solution with Lot. This land of Canaan was a large area of land. Aram told Lot to choose whatever area he would like to settle in, and Abram would take the area in the opposite direction.

Lot saw that the plain around the Jordan River was very fertile, so Lot journeyed east to that plain. Abram went west, settling for the less attractive area in the plain of Mamre, later known as Hebron which would become a refuge for young King David a thousand years later as he escaped Saul’s wrath.

Upon settling in Hebron (Mamre), Abram built an altar unto the Lord. Notice that Lot made his choice based on how good things looked toward Jordan. He could envision continuous prosperity and growth. He chose the “better” land even though his uncle Abram had taken care of him. He left the “poorer” looking land to his uncle.

Abram’s choice was for the sake of peace. Let us think of this in spiritual terms. Lot chose the allurement of the world, the things that look good to the lust of the eye or flesh. Most people follow in that way. If it “looks good, tastes good, and feels good, then it must be good.” That is the world’s trap. It took Lot to Sodom.

Abram chose the way of peace. Who is our peace giver? Jesus said (John 14:27), “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you.” This is a foreshadow type of Jesus that Abram chose peace. Matthew 5:9 says, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God.” Abram’s descendants indeed became the children of God.

God is grieved when there is strife, fighting, and arguing in His Church, just as Abram had been grieved. Jesus gave love as the greatest commandment. Peace and love work together. If you are in strife with anyone, pray and seek peace with them. Ask God for help with it. Holy Spirit will make a way.

PROPHETIC WORD

As posted on Facebook

The Lord says that we must learn to make the distinction between Donald J. Trump, the President, and Donald J. Trump the man. As President he wears a prophetic mantle of the Lion of Judah. And, as such, he roars the roar of the Lion of Judah and he is powerful in taking down the enemies of God and of America. This is the prophetic mantle in operation. This is his appointment and destiny. He did not chose this, but God chose this for him. He was made to be able to obey God in this anointing. And he is performing his destiny with the help and power of God behind him. This Lion is the King of the Jungle, or the swamp, whichever you prefer. It is quite likely that he personally has no idea of the power and purpose of the mantle that sovereignly rests upon him. He was not brought up with this spiritual understanding. And, if he does understand it it is because the Lord's people have prayed for him and labored before the Lord in intercession for him to be able to obey God as he executes his calling. He was born for such a time and job as this. For the length of time that God has established for him to wear this mantle, he will be unstoppable because God chose a man with the heart of a Lion. Donald J. Trump, the man is a different story. As a man he is full or contradictions. As a man he has many flaws, warts, and unsightly behaviors. The Spirit says that we must entrust 'the man' into His care, keeping and grooming. The man is loved by the Lord and is being shaped by the Lord in the laws of the Kingdom of God. He is being shaped by the Lord as a parent shapes and trains a willful child. Just because others see the faults of the child does not mean the child is not cherished by the parent. The Lord says that shaping Donald J. Trump, the man, is His business and it is private between the man and God. God places him behind a holy curtain while He works, loves, shapes and teaches the man. God will not use him as a Lion without loving and shaping him as a beloved child. But, this process is not for the public, or for the household of faith to mess with, other than to pray for mercy upon him. And, to pray for him as he is in the crucible of God's Divine Love. In other words, we may comment on the Lion, but we must be very careful how we think of or comment on the man. Those without spiritual eyesight only see the man, and do not value or cherish what God is doing in the man as he operates in the Lion of Judah mantle. The warning is to step back, pray in humility for the man and for the Lion. Both are precious in the sight of the Lord. To the degree that you or I judge the man, is the degree that we will be judged by the Lord. Don't get in God's way. Don't esteem yourself above the man. Don't be part of a group that attacks the work of the Lion while not being able to distinguish between the man and the mantle. It would be far more beneficial for one to shut up and just pray for him. What is being done through him is holy. And what is being done to him, by God, is also holy. Handle with care. Handle with care.
