Extracurricular Activities: We are revisiting this issue and will provide information in the coming weeks.
Quarantine: If your child needs to quarantine per the Department of Health or out of state travel, please contact the principal for details on how their schooling will continue their quarantine.
Calendar Reminders:
- October 27-30- AM school sessions only- no PM virtual to allow for virtual parent conferences. More information to follow on conferences from the schools. Reminder- Valleyview Students are not permitted to walk to town on these days.
- November 1- Daylight Savings Time ends- turn clocks back 1 hour
- November 3- AM session only- fully virtual for all students- no in-person instruction or childcare.
- November 5 and 6 all schools including virtual closed.

Denville Schools Messaging System Test - Nov. 2nd

COVID-19 Revised Definition of Close Contact
On 10/21/20 CDC modified the definition of a close contact regarding the length of time associated with exposure and the time interval to assess the potential exposure that can result in transmission. In summary, the new definition requires 15 minutes or more of close contact (within 6 feet) of exposure to an infected person during a 24-hour period in which the infected person is infectious. The NJ Department of Health (NJDOH) will be adopting the revised CDC definition effective immediately. This is a change from our previous definition of 10 minutes of consecutive exposure.
