Congratulations to CFHS Men's Swim Team on their accomplishments at last weekend's district meet and taking 2nd place overall! They are sending seven swimmers in individual events and 3 relays to the state competition this weekend in Iowa City!

Congrats to the Cedar Falls High School Science Team on winning the Iowa Science Bowl! They will represent Iowa in the National Science Bowl this spring in Washington D.C. Congratulations to Akshat Mehta, Anurag Anugu, Param Sampat, and Sai Pranav Kota!

The Cedar Falls High School Chapter of DECA recently competed in Waverly in various competitive events with Marketing and Management. Several received positive feedback for growth. In February, students will compete at state in Des Moines. Students will earn recognition and the possibility of qualifying for Nationals. Good luck Tigers!

Congrats to the CFHS Speech Team! Two performance groups were among the small percentage of those across Iowa who will receive all-state honors! This is the first time in recent history that the Tigers have sent groups to all-state in back-to-back years. Congratulations to Ella Hertz, Midnight Thornton, Dee Dee Benton, and Maggie McCullough for their all-state ensemble acting group and Skylar Zimmerman, Emma Lau, Harrison Kirschenmann, and Sophia Woods for their all-state improv group! These eight seniors will represent CFHS at the IHSSA Large Group All-State Festival in Ames on February 18.
