This is Jenny Krol, new board member for Community Rights US. I am truly excited about CRUS because community rights are the path forward to “protect the rights of people and nature from the local up.”
After attending the eye-opening CRUS virtual course in March, I was so inspired, I joined the board and am empowered to make a difference in my community. This course is fantastic. Students come away with tools to start their own Community Rights project. By helping them to overcome their sense of powerlessness, they recognize the power that they can wield in their own communities. My hope is that CRUS can continue providing this ground-breaking programming to all.
