Princeton's COVID Case Count Continues to Rise
Vaccine Update: NJ Preparing for First Round
Several NJ hospitals are pre-positioning to receive the first shipments of Pfizer's COVID19 vaccine, expected to total roughly 76,000 doses. Healthcare workers and residents of long-term care facilities will be the first recipients of the vaccine in the initial rollout. We are still months away from widespread vaccine distribution, so it is still imperative to social distance, wear a mask, wash hands, especially in light of rising case counts.
Holidays in Princeton: Think Local First
The Central Business District and Princeton Shopping Center have been transformed for the holidays. Curbside pickup is available from most stores and restaurants. Check if delivery is offered. Shop weekdays to avoid crowds.

Womanspace's Annual Communities of Light
Womanspace's Communities of Light will be held on Dec. 7, an annual event where candles line the streets in a powerful symbol of hope for those impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking in our community. More info.
Princeton Receives 100% Ranking on Equality Index
For the second year in a row, Princeton earned the maximum score of 100 points on the Human Rights Campaign's Municipal Equality Index, measuring how inclusive municipal laws, policies, and services are of LGBTQ people who live and work there. Towns are rated based on non-discrimination laws, the municipality as an employer, municipal services, law enforcement and the city leadership's public position on equality. More info.

Parking Study: Tree Street Neighborhood Meeting
Princeton’s Permit Parking task force will present their draft proposal and possible alternatives for a pilot program to test a new technology and space management approach in a few neighborhoods most severely impacted by parking shortages. Tuesday, Dec 8, at 7:00 pm. More info
Free Mobile App Notifies of COVID Exposure
COVID Alert NJ is a free mobile app that anonymously alerts users if they have been in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19. Learn more about how the exposure notification app helps protect you and your family while ensuring your privacy.

The Municipality of Princeton's new website is launching next week featuring a completely new design that will be easier to navigate. The site will continue to be updated and improved.  In the meantime, we are soliciting photographs of Princeton to post on the site.
