Welcome to the May edition of the Milldam Monthly. This summer, we are welcoming Olivia DiFilippo and Amanda Brooks to the Milldam Public Relations Summer 2021 Internship Program.

Olivia DiFilippo is a junior at the University of Southern California. She will graduate USC with a bachelor's degree in Public Relations and a minor in Culture, Media & Entertainment in 2022. Olivia is from Santa Barbara, California and recently interned at The A List this year doing fashion/influencer PR. Olivia is interested in 35 mm photography, film, and travel.

Amanda Brooks is a sophomore also at the University of Southern California. She will graduate USC Annenberg School of Communication in 2023 with a major in Public Relations and a minor in Entrepreneurship. Amanda is from Los Angeles but studied at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois for her freshman year. Amanda has interned at Gidden Media, a production company in Beverly Hills, and Whisper, a social media app.

Having gotten to know them over the last week, I have no doubt that Amanda and Olivia will contribute greatly to Milldam's client base. Both of them will work out of Milldam's Beverly Hills office. Each year, we ask our interns to identify a special project that they would like to accomplish over the course of their internship. Keep an eye out for these projects in the September newsletter.

While it has been over a year since the last industry event, I look forward to attending 7X24 Exchange in San Antonio, and I hope to see you there!
