Principal's Message
We will host our annual Winter Social tomorrow, Friday, December 3. We hope you are able to join us for this fun event.

Parents and students, please be mindful that the testing season will be in full swing on campus starting the week of December 6 for all full-time GOC students in grades 4-12. There will be no campus labs the remainder of December. The Testing Schedule is available on the Final Exam page of GOC's main website.

Parents, please encourage your students to finish the semester strong.

Grades 4-12: Final Exam Information and Schedules
Final Exam information and schedules for the end of the semester were sent out in a special edition #GOCOWLS and are also posted on the Assessment page of GOC's website.

Please read this information carefully and direct all specific final exam schedule questions to our testing coordinator, Ms. Melissa Torrens.
Grades 4-12: Fall Semester Coursework Deadline
GOC courses will end on Sunday, December 5 at 11:59 p.m. to allow time for students to study and prepare for final exams. Students will still have access to all course content to use as they study.
Grades 4-12: Winter Social
GOC's Winter Social will be held tomorrow, Friday, December 3 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. (doors will open promptly at 10:45 a.m.) In order to participate in this event, students were required to pre-register and pay on their MyPaymentsPlus account.

Grades 4-12: Art Show at the Winter Social
GOC will hold an Art Show during our Winter Social on Friday, December 3. The show will feature artwork from our full-time students in grades 4-6. Students, parents, family, and staff are welcome to tour the displayed artwork.

Grades 8-12: Odyssey of the Mind
Odyssey of the Mind is a competitive problem solving competition where students work together to prepare a solution to a problem.

GOC's Odyssey of the Mind is looking for a few more members to complete their team. To learn more about this program, please click HERE.

Grades 4-12: Gaming Tournament
Please plan to join us on Friday, January 28 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. for GOC's Gaming Tournament. There will be something for everyone! We will have a variety of gaming activities for students to participate in from competitive play to playing just for fun! Plus we will have table top games for those that want to join us but are not into video games.
