Dear Friends of NativityMiguel:
We have much to be grateful for this Thanksgiving!
We are grateful for the NativityMiguel teachers and staff. Strong teamwork this summer and much hard work allowed us to open to with an in-person hybrid model in September. Not once did our teachers question the need or desire to welcome students back to our school building! Instead, they collaborated to make sure our Covid-19 protocols were reasonable and sustainable while meeting or exceeding the local, state and federal guidelines.
We are grateful for the NativityMiguel students and their families. By working together to wear masks, keep social distance and wash their hands, we have maintained a safe environment for all concerned.
We are grateful for our volunteers, whom we miss greatly! Please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers. We look forward to the day we can be together again!
We are grateful for the dedication and commitment of our Board of Trustees, our Board of Members, our Junior Board and our Board Committees. Thank you for your inspiration, your hard work and your generosity.
Although outside circumstances have forced us to pivot temporarily to fully remote learning, we are grateful that we are ready to keep students engaged in their education and connected with their teachers and each other. We are grateful that the county and the state recognize that teachers and staff are "essential workers" so that our teachers can continue to teach from their classrooms even while the students are away.
While there continues to be much uncertainty in the world, there is one thing we can be certain of: the NativityMiguel Middle School of Buffalo continues to work hard - both in -person and online - to ensure our students have a safe and nurturing environment that prepares them for the future.
Thank you for the many ways you are impacting our students and their future.
