IN-PERSON WORSHIP
This weekend's worship services will be held outside in our fenced-in lot at 9am and 11am! You may want to bring sunscreen and/or an umbrella or tent (taking care to not obscure the view of others). We recommend wearing a mask when talking with members of another household outside.
All Sunday School classes will take place as originally scheduled inside the building. We recommend wearing a mask at all times inside.
If you feel led to volunteer for set-up (8am) or tear-down (after the 11am service), your help will be greatly appreciated!

ONLINE WORSHIP
We know that many from our church won't be joining us for the in-person services, and we bless each of you as you decide what is best for you! You can join us virtually via our live-streamed services at 9am and 11am on YouTube (as technology allows), or watch the service later, beginning on Sunday afternoon.
This Worship Resource Page serves as a companion to the online worship service and includes song lyrics and sermon scripture.

MISSIONS SUNDAY
On Sunday, October 17 we will celebrate our annual Missions Sunday - we hope you'll plan to join us, either in person or online, for this special service!
John and Esther Spurrier, BIC World Missions global workers in Zambia, will be with us to share the morning's message, A Long Obedience in the Same Location. We're looking forward to the Spurriers' inspiration and challenge growing out of their decades of service at Macha Hospital and in the Macha community! We hope you won't miss it!
|
|
And each year on Missions Sunday, we take a special Missions Offering, which is used primarily to provide a love gift to all of the missionaries sent out from our church, with a small portion given to BIC World Missions. Our Offering Goal for this year is $10,000 or more. It will take many gifts, both large and small, to reach this goal. Each of us is encouraged to ask God for direction in what we are to share in order to support and bless our missionaries this year. You can give your Missions Offering in person at our services on October 17, or you can give online or mail a check to the church (marked for Missions Offering) anytime between now and the first Sunday in November.

REFUGEE RESETTLEMENT HELP
The Refugee Resettlement program in Harrisburg is currently looking for landlords with affordable and safe apartments/houses in the Harrisburg or Mechanicsburg area that are willing to rent to newly-arrived refugees. Catholic Charities can typically provide 2-3 months of rent, but the majority of refugees are employed and equipped to pay rent and utilities by the second month. Places for refugees to stay temporarily until they are able to move into their apartment are also needed.
Contact Pastor Carmen if you are able to help in one of these ways!
